Joshididi, our domestic help comes to our house from Mallikpur.She is working at our house since I was a schoolboy.She is like a family member to us. Oneday after lunch Joshodidi was telling me her story.She has two children - a boy who did quite well in his secondary exam but after that had to quit due to paucity of funds.Today Ratan,her son works in a mobile repairing shop and earns about rupees three hundred per month.Her daughter Munni studies in class ten.
One day while Ratan was coming back from work he saw a group of people talking with each other about his sister.Ratul, his one time school friend said,'friends Ratan's sister has become quite attractive and one day we will pick her up for having some cool fun.'Ratan came back home very tensed because these boys were notorious and roamed in bikes and though they didn't do any job always had money with them. Ratan discussed the issue with his parents and decided to get Munni married.Human trafficing and illegal business was the order of the day in the place in Mallikpur where they lived.Today when one member of the house goes out for work another waits there to look after Munni.Thus Munni's dreams of becoming a school teacher became quite obscure.The main targedy lies in the ill law and order system of Mallikpur where due to presence of notorious elements the common people have to suffer.
